What to check
- Local taxes: displayed prices generally exclude the tourist tax; see hidden fees and tourist tax.
- Bags: a package sometimes states 22 kg in the hold, which low-cost tickets sell separately.
- Protection: in the European Union, a package sold by a single trader falls under package travel rules (insolvency protection, refund if the trip is cancelled). Read the operator's conditions.
