The metro: line E (purple)

Line E links the airport to Trindade, in the heart of the city, with no change, in about 25 to 30 minutes. Service runs from about 6am to 1am; exact times and frequencies are published by Metro do Porto. At Trindade you can change to the other lines and reach the districts of Porto in one day.

Ticket and payment

The airport is in zone Z4. A single Z4 ticket costs about €2.30, valid for 1h15, and the rechargeable Andante card costs €0.60. At the machine, make sure to choose zone Z4; contactless card payment is possible at the entrance. Always validate your ticket before boarding: checks are frequent.
