The route in three stages
| Stage | What you see | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Miguel Bombarda | galleries, murals by Hazul, Costah, Tina Siuda, the Don Quixote wall | about 45 min |
| Baixa and Rua das Flores | electrical boxes painted by Porto artists | about 30 min |
| Codeçal and Miragaia | the Codeçal stairs (Costah, Hazul, Chei Krew), a Vhils work on the former cinema, Júlio Resende's ceramic mural on Rua de Camões (54 m, 1978) | about 1 h |
The works change: some disappear, others appear. A guide recalls that in 2013 a Hazul mural on Rua das Flores was erased, which triggered the slogan "Continua a pintar".
On your own or with a guide?
- On your own: free, at your own pace; wear good shoes, Porto is hilly. See Cedofeita and Miguel Bombarda and Rua das Flores.
- 3-hour guided tour: small group of 10 people at most, guide with an art background, artist names and the story of each work; from about 25 $ (October 2026).
- Another format: a private 3-hour tuk-tuk covers Cedofeita, Miguel Bombarda and Bonfim, from about 230 $ per group of 3; see tuk-tuk or guided tour.
Tips
Start in the morning for the light and the quiet, keep the gallery visits for the afternoon, and extend with a coffee in the district. In the rain, see Porto on a rainy day.
