Espinho from Porto: train, beach and what to do in half a day
Espinho is a seaside resort about 20 km south of Porto, with a very long sandy beach and colourful bathing huts. You get there by suburban train on the Porto-Aveiro line (CP) from Porto-Campanhã: allow about 30 minutes, with frequent trains (sources give varying durations and fares, around 2 to 3 EUR); check cp.pt (October 2026). Half a day is enough: beach, seafront walk, a fish lunch.
