What is true, what is legend
J. K. Rowling did live in Porto in the early 1990s, where she taught English. The precise link with Livraria Lello (staircase, stained-glass ceiling) and with students' black capes is a popular legend rather than an established fact: guides tell it as such. Come for the atmosphere, not for proof.
