What to do in October
The priority is the Douro Valley: a day with tastings, lunch and a cruise, or a stay on site (sleeping in the Douro Valley). In Porto itself, enjoy the morning light at the Ribeira and the Gaia cellars. The Foz and Matosinhos beaches are mostly for walking. Have a rain plan: Porto when it rains.
