The Bolhão Market is the big covered market in the centre of Porto, in the heart of the Baixa, between Rua Formosa and Rua Sá da Bandeira. Renovated from 2018 to 2022, it reopened on 15 September 2022. On two levels it brings together stalls of fruit, vegetables, fish, cheese, cured meats and flowers, along with restaurants and shops. According to the market's official site, 126 of its 129 commercial units are allocated. Entry is free. It is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm and on Saturday from 8am to 6pm, and closed on Sunday.
