Arribes del Duero: the closest cruise
The Arribes canyon marks the border between Spain and Portugal. At Aldeadavila the electric catamaran covers the canyon for almost two hours; the operator's site lists 16 EUR per adult. From Vilvestre another route goes down to Mieza in about 1 h 30. Confirm with the operator before travelling: there is not a sailing every day and weather decides.
Miranda do Douro: the cruise with an official price list
Europarques runs an environmental cruise of about 1 h from the nautical park at Miranda do Douro, within a 1 h 30 experience with a tasting. The official 2026 price is 18 EUR in low season, 20 EUR in medium and 22 EUR in high, with 10 % off for over-65s, large families or youth cards. Bookings and changes go by e-mail to info@europarques.com up to 48 hours ahead; cancelling costs 50 %. The crowd calendar is on the operator's site. Children up to 9 need ID.
And if you want the Porto Douro
If the wine valley is your goal, you cruise on the other side: Pinhao, Regua and the UNESCO terraces are about 2 h 20 from Porto. Salamanca to Porto is about 249 km; by bus allow 5 to 6 hours and 18 to 35 EUR according to comparison sites (not the carriers' own figures: confirm with Alsa or FlixBus).
